Vision

The Grassroots Revolution is a consolidation of the progressive ideas, policies and organizations that for too long have stood alone in the face of corporate hegemony; gaining little traction if their solutions did not bring profit to those in positions of power. By unifying the myriad brilliant ideas, solutions, strategies, and efforts of the millions who have dedicated their lives to making the world a better place, we will move our civilization toward true democracy, social and economic justice, and environmental recovery.

Grassroots intends to direct discourse away from bi-partisan politics to a more wholistic system in which cooperation and respectful collaboration take place between numerous stakeholders representing all portions of society. Realizing that division and separation have been imposed from the top-down in order to keep us disorganized and fighting against each other, we will unite under one banner, the Grassroots representing the regular people all over the world who are fed up with systematic oppression and social stagnation, and want to see a shift into a new paradigm of better governance.

Within Grassroots, the initial mandate will be restored democracy, corporate social responsibility, environmental stewardship, and social justice in its many forms. Differing opinions will be considered, and using consensus decision-making processes, the specific policies will be decided and acted upon. We intend to reach decisions in a transparent and accountable fashion, including the votes of members in the construction of policy.

We are all beings of extraordinary power, and by bringing our powerful minds and hearts together, we will overthrow the systems of the elite who have held us under their thumbs for far, far too long. We will not allow the current agenda of destruction, dehumanization, and subjugation to rule our lives any longer.

We have one weapon in this peaceful (specifically non-violent) Revolution, and that is our unprecedented ability to communicate with each other, to share our common ideals, and to coalesce in solidarity that would have been impossible at any other time in history. We must trust that our allies, those who also wish to see a better future, will help us to keep these channels of communication open and flowing, so that the solutions can be shared far and wide.

Because our platform is based on the ideals of social justice, inclusion, and respect; people from all walks of life will be represented by our policies. We hope to receive support for our mandate from all across the grassroots population, which is virtually everyone, everywhere; and from progressive NGOs, businesses, and not-for-profit organizations whose work we uphold as vital to the foundation and success of this Revolution.

We must stand shoulder to shoulder to face the Goliath that is the governing military-industrial complex, with its inexplicable wealth and considerable power. The transition can be made easier for them if they will acquiesce to our demands for economic reparation, social and environmental justice, democratic reform, and advancement of the common good – everywhere on the planet. If they will not yield, then we will bring them down through political and economic upheaval.

We can learn to work together for the good of humanity on planet Earth, but we will not compromise that even one person is left behind to suffer at the hands of soulless corporations bent on greed and exploitation. The end of their time has come.

We have the chance now to work together to bring the vision of a better future into reality; we must act swiftly and with confidence.

Join us as we chart the course into the future. Envision the world you want to see; share your ideas with Grassroots; and we will share them with the world. Let us work together to turn our dreams into reality, and to allow change to come swiftly and completely.

Unite as the Grassroots Revolution and we will be an unstoppable force. Be one movement, and forever change the world.
